Aquaculture facilities require high volumes of good quality water for shore-based or fresh water facilities. Finding such a source of supply requires knowledge of subsurface geology as well as surface hydrology. Once a prospective location has been chosen, regulatory requirements stipulate that an investigation of the yield of any fresh water supply be carried out. Fundy Engineering has on its staff hydrogeologists capable of analyzing subsurface conditions and identifying locations suitable for developing high-yielding water supplies. When such supplies have been found we are also capable of carrying out the required investigations to determine the sustainable yield of the potential water supply.
