Pre-Blast Surveys

Pre-blast surveys require a detailed documentation of the existing conditions of a structure.  In addition, sampling of wells may be included as part of the pre-blast survey.  This third-party data provides the basis for expedient dispute resolution.

Blasting Design

Blasting design involves the determination of safe blasting criteria for various blasting procedures such as trenching, quarry blasing and pre-splitting. 

Blast Monitoring

Blast monitoring is undertaken with sensitive seismographs which measure air shock and ground vibrations.  The monitoring not only allows for maintaining pre-determined safe limits, but also provides factual information on vibrations resulting from the blasting.
